FAQ

Q: I put a spoon of tea in my cup and it’s floating everywhere. Am I doing it wrong?

A: Yes! We strongly recommend brewing this tea in a Teapot, not directly in a cup. Because of our unique processing method, the tea expands significantly and yields a very rich infusion that needs space to breathe.

Q: What is the best way to brew ChagaJaga?

A: The "Teapot Method" is best to unlock the full flavor profile:

  1. Use a Teapot: Preferably one with a built-in strainer or a French Press.

  2. Measure: Add 1-2 teaspoons of tea per teapot (depending on how strong you like it).

  3. Water: Pour hot water (approx. 195°F / 90°C).

  4. Wait: Let it steep for 5-7 minutes.

  5. Enjoy: Pour into cups. This method ensures a clean, rich drink without floating leaves.

Q: Why does this tea brew so differently from regular herbal tea?

A: It’s all about our Special CTC (Crush, Tear, and Curl) Technique. Regular tea is simply dried until the leaves curl. We use a special technology that adds an extra boost to the leaves by crushing and tearing them before drying. This unique method gives the tea an irresistible, rich, golden-brown infusion much faster than whole leaves. It releases a potent fragrance typical of fermented Fireweed—an aroma with fruity floral notes that are luscious and flavorful. That is why it works best in a teapot: it needs volume to release this powerful energy.

Q: The packaging says "15 servings," but the website says 60. Which is correct?

A: Trust the website! Due to a printing error on our first batch of packaging, the label incorrectly states 15 servings. In reality, each pouch contains 120g (4.2 oz). Since you only need 1-2 teaspoons for a whole teapot, one bag will last you for 60+ tea sessions. Enjoy the extra value!
